Crackerjack Visual Thinking is pleased to share that we have been commissioned to create a rich picture detailing The Nottingham’s strategic vision.
The new image will have an underlying theme sharing the benefits of mutuality for customers, members and staff alongside several other key elements important to the success of the organisation and its’ members.
We will be working closely with stakeholders at The Nottingham to develop the image over the next few weeks and will involve staff from across the organisation as part the design process.
In addition to providing existing team members with a clear visual overview of The Nottingham’s strategic vision, the rich picture will also be used to orient people during the induction process and to share The Nottingham’s vision with partner organisations and members of the building society.

Great day helping the #Interflora leadership team #develop their #visualthinking skills!
I spent yesterday running a Scribble Lab session with the Interflora senior leadership team helping them being to develop their visual thinking skills – in particular their drawing and graphic recording techniques.
It was great to see the team really engage with the workshop and commit to using the tools and techniques learnt during the Scribble Lab session to help visualise, explore, clarify and communicate both their own and their teams thinking.

High Performing Hospital rich picture created for Manchester University Hospitals #NHS Foundation Trust #visualthinking #MFTnhs
Crackerjack Visual Thinking is pleased to be able to share a rich picture we created for Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (MUH) earlier this year. The image was created to drive discussion and understanding across the organisation of what a high-performing hospital (sometimes referred to as a model hospital) looks like.
Helen Farrington, Associate Director of OD and Training at MUH, comments:

Working with the Weetabix On The Go Team #visualthinking
I spent yesterday with the Weetabix On The Go team at their office at Weetabix HQ in Northamptonshire. I’m helping them to visualise their teams amazing journey from internal Weetabix start-up to the UKs #1 breakfast drink. The starting point for this work is to identify the special ‘ingredients’ that have helped them to become a super-successful team and business. Now on with creating the rich picture to help them tell their story!

Institute of Quarrying (@IQ_UK) ask Crackerjack #VisualThinking to create rich pictures to help #engage people with the world of #quarrying
We’re very pleased to share that the Institute of Quarrying (IQ) have asked us to create two rich pictures to engage people in the world of quarrying. The rich pictures will visualise the life-cycle of a quarry and the processes and job roles involved in quarrying.
The rich pictures will used for a variety of purposes including induction, training, communications and awareness raining activity.
Excitingly, the rich pictures will be also be displayed near the IQs QuarryGarden at the first ever RHS Chatsworth Flower Show being held in June 2017.

Half term school holidays – the perfect time to practise your drawing! #visualthinking #communicate #engage #draw
In the UK, it’s the half term holidays for many schools and many of you may be taking a few days off to spend time with your kids.
Although there are many things that take up children’s attention during the holidays, (from sports activities to X-Boxes), in my experience kids still really enjoy drawing. A blank piece of paper and some felt-tip pens allow them to be creative and share their ideas (whether it’s Star Wars inspired picture, a fairy story or a new monster from their own imagination!).
So why not get involved too and practise your own drawing skills whilst also spending some quality time with the kids! From simply helping them finish one of their drawings through to having a full-on family drawing competition (e.g. who can create the best monster…), the practise will help develop your own drawing skill and confidence.
And then of course you can put these skills to use back in the your workplace and sketch out ideas (maybe not monsters or fairies!) to share your thinking with colleagues more quickly and effectively.
Remember, drawing your ideas is not childish – it’s the smart way to share information!
