What do all of our clients have in common?

Our clients come from a wide variety of sectors and specialisms, yet they all have one thing in common; the desire to engage people with their work in as impactful, memorable, informative and visual way as possible.

Helping people easily and clearly see the value and benefit of an organisation and its work (via rich pictures, graphic recording or whiteboard animation) serves a number of purposes:

    • For team members: ENGAGEMENT AND MOTIVATION. It helps them understand how the work they do day in and day out contributes to the organisations goals.
    • For leaders in the organisation: STRATEGY AND DIRECTION. It helps them to consider the bigger organisational picture in the decisions they make and the priorities they set for themselves and their teams.
    • For customers: UNDERSTANDING AND ENGAGEMENT. It helps them to see how the organisation operates, how it aligns with their values and how it will provide them with the product or service they require.

Our clients use our images and animations as both standalone resources and often as part of a wider internal or external communication initiative.

Another experience our clients have in common is that the more they use our illustrations and animations across their organisations, the better the shared understanding of their organisation becomes. This enables more effective conversations and meetings and, in turn, increases action and productivity – all of which are vital to achieving the organisations aims and objectives.

    “Good Morning John,

I hope you are well, apologies for the delay in sending this over, having now distributed the image you created for us to represent our NMAHP journey to excellence using our new 2021 – 2026 strategy I am delighted to say the feedback  I have received from colleagues has been very positive indeed.

As per the original brief to create a pictorial reference / image for the strategy you have truly delivered!

Colleagues have commented that this piece of work has helped them to simply explain and discuss our combined aims and objectives to continue to support our People our Patients and our Populations.

On a personal note I have enjoyed working with you on this process as you know it has been a key objective to deliver this for Sam our Chief Nurse and the Trust and I believe we have succeeded!.

Thanks again John / Crackerjack I am sure we will work together again soon.

    Kind regards,

    Mark”

  • Latest testimonial for Crackerjack Visual Thinking

“I worked alongside John when we were both supporting the Planning Organisation within Rolls Royce with their transformation programme.

John has a fantastic ability to help teams articulate a vision and really draw out of the organisation what it is they are trying to achieve through listening to the conversations, and honing in on what really matters.

John has the unique ability to come up with something that the organisation can get behind and translate this into easy to digest, clear and simple visuals.

These are more than just a set of pictures though, they are a great tool to help build the narrative around the need for change, support the communications messaging and storytelling and give colleagues and businesses something that they can easily understand.

  • How Crackerjack Visual Thinking helped ValueLicensing visualise their their organisational vision (in their words)…

How Crackerjack Visual Thinking helped ValueLicensing visualise their their organisational vision (in their words)…

David Hubbard | Managing Director | ValueLicensing

“ValueLicensing wanted to find an effective way to communicate our vision and strategy to everyone within our business, in manner that would be both memorable and unambiguous. We reached out to John to see if he could help us visualise both this and key business messages to existing and new employees.

John’s approach was to work closely with the directors and senior management team to understand who we are, what we do and why we do it. John facilitated a number of workshops during which he spent time listening and contributing to the sessions to allow him draft the first visualisation of the company strategy.

The artwork produced was excellent and John was more than happy to make tweaks until we were happy with the finished product. The visualisation was communicated to the business and was received with positive feedback from across the team and we have referred his work to other organisations.

John’s approach, professionalism, and quality of work are excellent and I personally recommend John and ‘Crackerjack Visual Thinking’ to anyone looking for ways to communicate more effectively across the business. Thank you John.”

  • Great feedback from Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust about the ‘Transforming Care for the Future’ rich picture created by Crackerjack Visual Thinking #engage #communicate

Very pleased to be able to share feedback we’ve received from Mark Lindsay, Assistant Director of Strategy, Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, in relation to the ‘Transforming Care for the Future’ rich picture we created for use across the organisation:

John from Crackerjack Visual Thinking was commissioned to create a rich picture depicting our strategy. In doing so he engaged with the team, not only offering suggestions, but importantly he listened to what we felt was important. He then seamlessly weaved this into the working document in a very timely manner.

He was very quick to respond and worked flexibly in terms of time and method of communication. We found that most of the work could be carried out over the telephone or email, but when we requested that he visit us, John didn’t hesitate to make the long journey.

He was happy to amend the work until we were completely satisfied with the result – which we were. If you are looking to depict your message through a rich picture, then John comes highly recommended!”

  • Crackerjack Visual Thinking helping to communicate the future of project management at Rolls Royce

Crackerjack is working with Rolls Royce at their Derby HQ to help them communicate their future approach to project and programme management.

    Rolls Royce

Crackerjack spent a day with the Rolls Royce ‘Civils’ Project Management (PM) team learning about their new project management operating model and translating this into a one-page visual overview for on-going engagement and communication activities.

The visual was hand-drawn on an iPad which enabled ideas and design sketches to be shared in real-time to onsite and offsite members of the team for discussion and iteration on the day of our visit.

Note: This is an example graphic and not representative of the work produced for Rolls Royce!

The finalised visual was then used immediately to drive discussion about future ways of working across the PM teams and is due to play a large role in an PM team conference this week.
